Techniques - Repairing broken bonsai pots

We all have bonsai pots lying around which have been damaged in one way or another. One of our members has been very successful in repairing these pots. Here we will have a look at a flat slab which was repaired in this way.

Before starting layout the broken parts to make sure you know what order they fit together in.

The special material used for the repair is shown opposite. The instructions for mixing are included.

Place the two parts of the resin next to each other in the correct quantity and mix to a consistent colour.

Spread the resin on to one part and squeeze the two parts together. Hold until the resin begins to set.
