Techniques - Constructing garden stands
The site is ready to start work

The pressure treated logs have been concreted in at either end of the area.  This will separate the gravelled display area from the garden beds.

A path was construct ed from granite sets and simulated York Stone concrete paving slabs. The aim was to give a “Japanese” feel as the rest of the garden is designed on a similar theme.

The next job was to cement a row of granite sets onto the concrete strip already installed along the lawn edge.  This would provide both a neat decorative edge that linked in deign terms with the path and a practical way of keeping the gravel off the lawn.
