The following set of pictures were taken just over a month after the partial defoliation was carried out and detail how the tree has responded by providing another crop of smaller leaves.

During the rest of the growing season the tree had general maintenance work carried out such as the removal of any overly large leaves as required to maintain the general pad outline of the tree. The tree was fed during the main growing season with Yamato slow release fertiliser pellets, which have an NPK of 5.5.2.
