Case history
 

The tree was purchased from a fellow member of the Artistic Bonsai Circle who had originally purchased the tree from Harry Tomlinson back in 1985. The tree had been imported from Japan to Harry Tomlinson’s nursery.
October 2004.

Over the years the tree has been developed to produce a mature tapered trunk line, excellent surface roots and refined twigery.

These photo’s were taken as the tree was starting to display its fine Autumn colours.

The tree had been re-potted by its previous owner in the spring of 2004 so was not due for re-potting for a while. The following pictures were taken in March 2005, spring is underway and the delicate new leaves are starting to emerge.
