Case history - 9

The two photos below were taken on 9th June 2007 the day before the tree was taken to our Artistic Bonsai Circle group meeting, where again we had Lee Verhorevoort working with us on our trees for the day.
During the course of the day the new growth was scissor pruned to tidy up the foliage pad lines.

The tree was left to grow on for the remainder of the year, feeding with Bio Gold pellet fertiliser and also Maxicrop liquid fertiliser.

The picture on the left shows the front of the tree and was taken at the end of May 2008. The picture on the right shows the back of the tree prior to foliage thinning out.
It has been eleven months since the tree last had a good thin out, it was last done in June last year and is well overdue for a session of scissor pruning the new foliage growth.
