| The following three photo’s were taken in mid May 2005 and the new shoots are developing nicely. By the end of the month the shoot length ranged between 30 and 60mm in length. |

At the beginning of June the new shoots were finger pinched, working over the tree generally. Some of the older shoots were scissor pruned to bring the foliage back to profile.
Towards the end of August 2005 some additional light pruning was again undertaken and the tree was generally prepared ready to be exhibited at the Bristol Bonsai Society show at Westonbirt Arboretum.
