Case history
The tree before re-potting 28th January 2008.
The photograph on the left shows the tree just before it was repotted.
The tree was repotted in 2005 and should have been done in 2007, but it shooted very earl and could not be done at that time.

The roots were quite closely packed in the pot. As can be seen on the right the media was removed and the roots trimmed.

These photos of the front and back of the tree were taken nine days after repotting. The repotting media used was 80% small Akadama and 20% Kuryu.

The two photos above show the tree before and after trimming. This is the third time this year that the tree has been trimmed.
Bio-Gold fertiliser was added on the 8th May and it has also had weekly liquid feeds of fish emulsion.
