16th March 2010. These photos show the front and back view of the tree.
     
12th May 2010.
The tree is now in leaf although they are still very soft.		   Front view in leaf
     

18th June 2010.
The leaves have now hardened off and the longer shoots have been cut back to two leaves.

It was decided not to remove the leaves this year as growth was late due to the cold weather, but in fact growth was very good later with the hot weather and it could have been done.

31st August 2010. Front and back view of the tree showing some of the new growth. The tree has already been trimmed several times before.
     
8th September 2010.
