Case History - 6
Front branch at top of trunk This branch is towards the top of the trunk at the front of the tree. It has been wired as it will possibly be grown on as part of the branch structure.
   
Back branch towards top of trunk This branch is towards the top of the trunk at the back. It has also been wired as it will possibly be grown on as part of the branch structure.
   
Close-up of stub after cutting

The stub half way up the trunk has now been cut back and slightly hollowed out to help with the healing of the wound. It has been covered with cut paste.
