October 2007
This photo of the back of the tree was taken on the 10th of the month and shows how the needles have grown since June.

December 2007
This photo was taken on the bench in the middle of the month just before it was put into the unheated conservatory at the side of the house for the winter.

20th February 2008. This is a view of the front and back of the roots after removal of the soil and hosing down. It is the first time it has been repotted since it was brought into the UK.
 
1st March 2008
This photo was taken 10 days after the tree was repotted.
The potting media used was 70% Akadama and 30% Kiryu.
