Case history - 3
March 2007.
This photo was taken the first week of March and the buds have not yet opened.
The tree has been kept in the greenhouse for the winter.

In August 2007 I was replacing a fence panel in the garden, and a strong gust of wind blew over the new panel and broke off one of the branches half way up the trunk as can be seen here.
 
October 2007.
This photo was taken the first week of October and some of the leaves are just starting to turn brown.

October 2007.
As can be seen in this photo the stub that remains from the broken branch has been cleaned up and treated with cut paste.
When this photo was taken there is a new shoot appearing nearby and it is hoped in time a new branch can be formed from this.
