| 18th April 2011. All three hawthorns have put on good growth this year. The photo on the right shows the amount that was cut off when the tree was trimmed. |

| 28th April 2011. This photo was taken 10 days after the trimming. It looks a bit flat in this photo and probably would have been better if it had been taken from a higher camera angle. |

| 3rd July 2011. This photo was taken after further trimming was carried out. |

| 11th September 2011. The tree put on some growth since July and was trimmed again ready for the Winter. The tree was kept outside until November and when the weather got colder in was put into an unheated conservatory on the side of the house. |
