The branches were wired in January, and the wire will only remain on for a short time as the branches will swell quickly as the tree grows in the Spring.
The wires were removed in June 2007.
20th February 2008. These photos show the front and back view of the roots after removing the media and hosing down. This tree was last repotted February 2005.
In this case we have several large roots which makes it difficult to locate in correctly in the pot.
In the photo above you can see a large root just above the white X. There is another root now branching off this one, and in the right image you can see the large root has been cut off just below this.
On the right we have a close up of this root after the large one has been cut off.
