20th May 2008.
The tree has put on a lot of new shoots. |

29th May 2008.
After the new growth had hardened off then it was trimmed with a view of trying to get as near as possible to the image top right of this page.
It will be further trimmed as some of the new growth extends. |
4th June 2008
The tree has been trimmed again now that the foilage has taken up position after the first trimming one week before.
The top of the tree has been trimmed as mentioned above to shape the top of the tree but this will take several years to do. |

The tree looks very similar to when it was photographed in June.
It has been well fed during the summer and trimmed as required throughout the growing season. |
