11/05/05. When there is at least 2 or 3 small candles around the large candle then the centre candle can be completely cut off. In the photos above the centre candle has been cut off at the base using a thin pair of scissors.
In this case there were 5 small candles grouped around the centre one, and at least two needed to be removed. In the photo on the left the two largest ones were removed as the other three were in a good position. It is important to keep those candles that are in the best position even if they are bigger than the ones you cut off.
The length of the remaining candles are 1.75, 0.90, and 1.18cm.
