4th May 2010. For the last couple of years the bark has been peeling off as the trunk expands. it is important that the old bark is brushed off regularly with a toothbrush otherwise it becomes very difficult to remove. Some of it comes off very easily but some is a lot more difficult.

12th May 2010.
The trunk and branches have all been brushed and cleaned up. Some small branches have been removed to tidy up the image of the tree.
