3rd May 2008. The photo on the right shows the tree after the leaves have opened. The top photo on the left is a close-up of the bare branches which can be seen at the top of the tree. The bottom left photo shows the bare branches on the left lower branch.
Some of these branches have buds which have not opened and they are being sprayed several times a day.

4th June 2008.
The new shoots have not opened so all the affected branches have been cut off, and it is hoped that new shoots will appear in this area.
