26th September 2008. These two photos show the front and back of the tree. The tree has been well fed during the summer months and trimmed as required.
 
1st February 2009.
When the tree was last repotted in 2007 the process of cutting back some of the larger roots was started. This can be seen on page 2. It can be seen in this photo that some new roots have appeared where these cuts were made.

The process has continued this time and you can see where three smaller roots have been cut off.

The root ball is being wired into the pot. It will be seen on the right of the photo a wire staple which is holing a root in place.
Cut paste has been put on the large root to protect the wood, and prevent any new roots growing there.
On this same root the bark has been cut back in the hope that new roots will grow from there.

These photos of the front and back of the tree were taken eight days after it was repotted.
