This trident maple was imported into the UK February 1999, and was purchased by the owner at the Joy of Bonsai in March 1999. |

| These photos of the front and back of the tree were taken on the last day of October 2006 which shows that the leaves have changed colour several weeks later this year. The tree was de-foliated in June and after the new leaves had then hardened the tree was well fed during the summer months. The new growth was trimmed back to one or two pairs of leaves as required. |
