The tree again put on quite a lot of new growth during the summer months and was trimmed again ready for the winter. |

16th February 2010.
The tree has been kept in the greenhouse all winter and this is done every year.
There is normally some browning at the tips, but this year it has stayed quite green.
The tree was not repotted this year.

8th April 2010.
The stand shown above is rather low and several other stands are being tried to get a more Japanese effect.
This stand has been made for another tree and is 8 inches (20.3cm) high and would need to be lower and probably a different design of cross bars. |
