This group of 5 Koi carp and the Tancho Crane were purchased  from a shop in Asakusa, Tokyo who specialise in miniature models, and are all hand painted.  The largest Koi is only 2cm long.
The ceramic ”pond” was made by Beryl Thorpe and the “water” is made of molten coloured glass on a ceramic base.
